in 2011, S.S Rajomauli( director of baahubali) announced that his next film would be with tamil actor "prabhas"
in 2013, he announced the title of the film as "baahubali "
the working of baahubali was started in between 2012 and 2013. Tamil lyricist madhan Karky was choosed to write the dialogues of Baahubali for the Tamil version.
the action scenes was choreographed by action director "peter hein".
it was the story set in mahishmati kingdom.
s.s rajamouli was inspired by mahabharat for this movie.. first, it was decide that their will be only one part of the movie ,, rajamouli,, also tried hard to do that , but, later he realised that we can loose emotional scenes..
then, it is decided that the film will contain two parts.
baahubali : the beginning and baahubali : the conclusion.
Baahubali's first poster was released in early May 2015.
in which the infant is showed on women's hand in river.
then,Deccan Chronicle noted its similarities to the poster of the 1998 American film Simon Birch, and commented that "The Baahubali poster shows a woman's hand raising an infant from a river; the Hollywood film's poster shows an infant being raised by two hands from water. later , it is sort out.
after all the film is finally relelased on box offices on 10th july 2015 which then smashes all the record of collection.
the first part of the film collected around 650crores in india in different languages.
and soon in 27th april 2017 , the second part of the baahubali series" bahubali 2: the conclusion is released.
and collected more than 100 crores on 1st day of release. overall the box office for second part is estimated to be more than 1800 crores worldwide.. !
